Thesis Reflection

The Fall semester of this thesis focused on learning the ins and outs of the project. The first two tech reports were reminiscent of the work done in previous AE courses, but investigating Value Engineering prospects and the challenges faced by the project team in Tech Report 3 and the Proposal were enlightening.

The Spring semester's work on analyzing our own solutions to the problems faced on-site, as well as doing research on industry topics that I was personally interested in allowed for a very fulfilling project overall. Demonstrating the knowledge gained over the last five years of schooling at Penn State and using this project as an opportunity to learn more about topics I am interested in was the highlight of my thesis experience.

Using this website as a way to track progress and display my project has been extremely helpful and a learning experience in and of itself.
