About Richard Knouff

Richard Knouff is currently in his fifth year of study at Pennsylvania State University for a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in Construction Management, and a minor in Business. He will graduate in May of 2018 to seek employment in the financial sector of the construction business. He is currently a member of the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE).

Mr. Knouff’s work experience in the industry includes a position onsite as a laborer for Harris Masonry. Being employed as a laborer gave him greater insight into the hard work required to make such topics learned about in class come alive in real life. Further construction management experience can be attributed to managing his Eagle Scout project. Earning the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America at age 13, Richard designed, planned, and executed a small scale renovation job with a team he gathered for his local church.

Outside of academics, Richard remains busy with a part time job, working 30+ hours a week in the food and customer service industry. It has long been one of his goals to make it out of college debt-free, and he is very close to achieving it.
